Youth and Sports Ministry: Nasser International Leadership Fellowship is under the auspices of His Excellency president El-Sisi for the second consecutive year
Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, affirmed that the political leadership in Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi rule, is interested in supporting and rehabilitating African youth through the qualification grants offered by Egypt in addition to the specialized technical grants provided by Egyptian bodies and ministries, which contributes to breaking up new development perspectives and transferring experience and cultures in various fields and disciplines.
The Minister of Youth and Sports pointed to the importance of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership and its obtaining the patronage of the President for the second consecutive year, which is a continuation of the efforts of the Egyptian state to play its role with enhancing the role of youth locally, regionally, continentally and internationally by providing all forms of support, rehabilitation and training, in addition to empowering them in leadership positions and benefit from their capabilities and ideas, and this was approved and announced by President Sisi during the events of the World Youth Forum in all its editions.
After wide international acclaim and the resounding success of the second edition, the third edition, scheduled for next June 2022, received generous patronage from His Excellency President Sisi for the second consecutive year.
It is worth noting that the first edition of Nasser Leadership Fellowship was implemented in June 2019 under the auspices of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafi Madbouly, targeting young leaders with diverse and active executive disciplines within their communities. The second edition of the fellowship was under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and spread to include youth leaders from the continents of Asia, Latin America and Africa.
