Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, witnessed a ceremony held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the occasion of the conclusion of the third edition of the Gamal Abdel Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Karam Gabr, President of the Supreme Media Council, and Dr. Hussein Zain Chairman of the National Media Authority, and journalist and writer Abdel-Sadiq Al-Shorbagy, head of the National Press Authority, along with a number of senior civil society leaders and officials in the public sector, as well as a group of ambassadors of African, Arab and European countries, with the participation of 150 young leaders from 65 countries around the world, Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
At the outset of the conversation, the Prime Minister began his speech by conveying the fragrant greetings of President Sisi to the attendees and participants in the grant, stressing his keenness to invest the energies of young people and enabling them to take leadership positions, and added: "I would like to welcome you as distinguished guests on the land of Egypt, and to express to you my great happiness in participating with you." Today, at the conclusion of the activities of the third edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, which was held in Cairo for the third year in a row, and under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Asisi, President of the Republic.
His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly continued, noting that the "Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership" is one of the most important mechanisms that reflect the efforts of the Egyptian state and its tireless quest to enhance the role of youth locally, regionally, continentally and internationally, through all forms of training and qualification, in addition to giving an opportunity to actors and influencers from countries of the world. The different types of people mingle with each other at one table, and forging partnerships in various fields, not only at the continental level, but also at the global level, in order to activate the seventeenth goal of the sustainable development goals, as well as being one of the most important aspects of activating the United Nations strategy for the (South-South) cooperation.
His Excellency the Prime Minister concluded, stressing that the third edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is a real opportunity for us to sit together at one table and discuss among ourselves the lessons learned from the Non-Aligned Movement, and its impact on the world in light of the intense conflicts around the time, and then we lay down ways to revive the principles of Non-alignment, and formulating a new concept in line with the youthful perspectives of our time. We also hope that your recommendations will be taken into consideration and submitted to decision-makers and to the leaders of the countries and governments of the Non-Aligned Movement at the next summit. He added: We are waiting for the constructive recommendations that resulted from all sessions and seminars. The discussion during the grant, stressing that we will thoroughly research and study it, in preparation for its implementation on the ground.
