1- Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership:
The Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is the international training and qualification arm of the Nasser International Forum. It was launched on June 1, 2019, with support and funding from the Egyptian state and under the patronage of the President of the Republic. The fellowship constitutes a key step within a comprehensive vision aimed at empowering young leaders from all over the world, particularly from the Global South, and enhancing their capacities in institutional thinking and executive action for international development. It contributes to training and qualifying promising young cadres and enabling them to attain positions of influence within their communities, in addition to transferring Egypt’s developmental experience in consolidating institutions and shaping national identity. The fellowship reflects the concept of activating international and regional agendas. It effectively contributes to implementing Egypt’s Vision 2030 at the national level, Africa’s Agenda 2063 at the continental level, and the Sustainable Development Goals at the global level, particularly Goal 5 on gender equality and Goal 17 on strengthening global partnerships. The fellowship works to support South-South cooperation and enhance youth participation, thereby operationalizing international conventions and resolutions related to peace and security issues. Five editions of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership have been implemented between 2019 and 2025.
2- Nasser Youth Movement:
This program emerged as one of the most prominent outcomes of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, initiated by graduates of the fellowship’s first cohort. Its launch was announced on July 23, 2019, coinciding with the anniversary of the July 1952 Revolution. The organizers were keen to ensure the sustainability of impact beyond graduation. This led to the independent establishment of the Nasser Youth Movement, which has developed into an active cross-border youth platform. With growing success, branches of the movement have spread across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, organizing online activities and youth qualification programs. The movement has also contributed to advancing youth diplomacy aimed at building partnerships and strengthening cooperation between Egypt and the countries of the Global South.
3- Nasser Social Platform (Pilot):
This is a dynamic, interactive digital space that provides an evolving educational and knowledge environment, connecting continuous training, digital documentation, and global interaction within the comprehensive vision of the Nasser International Forum. The platform serves as a central meeting point for graduates of the fellowship from around the world to build a global community of young leaders committed to positive change and cross-border cooperation. Its interactive tools allow participants to share their initiatives and experiences.
4- National School Program for Preparing and Training Cadres:
This is one of the strategic pillars of the Nasser International Forum. It aims to prepare a new generation of young leaders capable of driving positive change in their communities through interactive education that includes lectures, discussions, and workshops. Training is delivered by a select group of graduates from the Nasser International Fellowship, Egyptians who took part in previous editions of the fellowship, ensuring the transfer of experience from fellowship alumni to the participants of the school. This serves as a path to raising awareness among youth and instilling in them the principles of national loyalty and belonging by highlighting the patriotic traits of the Egyptian identity in the face of globalizing challenges, in addition to covering a variety of theoretical and practical topics.
5- Website:
The website has recorded high numbers of visits from around the world, reflecting the forum’s growing role as a leading platform for dialogue among the peoples of the continent. This role is further strengthened by the site’s rich linguistic diversity, as it hosts articles in five main languages with approximate numbers: Arabic (1,700 articles), Swahili (1,455 articles), English (800 articles), Spanish (700 articles), and French (660 articles). This diversity is a true embodiment of the forum’s mission to exchange knowledge and foster communication among Africa’s many cultures, within a framework of openness and civilizational plurality. The website also ranks highly in search engines, reflecting its growing viewership.
The website provides a free and open space for writing articles and publishing opinions, within the framework of the Opinions and Articles Portal, which represents a qualitative and international step for young people of different nationalities and cultures to express their ideas and visions in their native languages, including Arabic, English, French, Swahili, Russian, and Spanish. This diversity is a true embodiment of the Forum’s mission to exchange knowledge and promote communication among cultures in a spirit of openness and civilizational plurality. The website also maintains a strong presence in search engines, reflecting its high viewership.
Finally, through these programs, the Nasser International Forum affirms Egypt’s active role in fostering international cooperation and empowering youth worldwide. The forum enables participants to develop their leadership skills and build a network of international and regional relationships. This enhances their ability to influence sustainable development and peace issues. Through these efforts, the forum contributes to shaping young leaders capable of driving change within their communities and reflects Egypt’s firm commitment to implementing global development agendas and strengthening cooperation among Southern countries.
