National Ambassador of Nasser Youth Movement
The ambassador to the national branch of Nasser International Youth Movement is regarded as one of the young cadres or distinguished university students. They have to hold Egyptian citizenship and be proficient in the language of the country they represent. Through Nasser Youth Movement, ambassadors represent Nasser International Forum, enhancing its presence and influence both domestically and internationally.
They are trained by the Assistant Secretary-General for Nasser Youth Movement Affairs on the role’s duties. Upon completion of the training, they work under the supervision of a colleague who has prior experience within the Movement as a regional coordinator of the region to which the coordinator belongs.
Ambassadors play a crucial role in highlighting joint activities between the two peoples across official and civil society sectors and maintaining lines of communication and participation among members of the national branch and Nasser Fellowship alumni. Moreover, they document relevant national events via social media platforms, ensuring a visible Egyptian media presence among foreign youth. They also follow news related to bilateral cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the represented country, as well as national, international, and regional events that support bilateral relations. Particular emphasis is placed on national achievements, international events hosted by Egypt, and record-breaking accomplishments that reflect Egyptian success. This contributes to strengthening the authentic image of the Egyptian state both domestically and internationally.
In this context, Nasser International Forum emphasizes that ambassadors must be well-versed in the historical, political, and economic knowledge of Egypt based on reliable sources. This should be followed by knowledge of the country in which Egypt is represented and the bilateral relations between the two states. This is to ensure the delivery of accurate and credible content that reflects a sound understanding of bilateral relations.
Organizational and Media Responsibilities
Ambassadors work to enhance interaction and active participation among members affiliated with the Movement in the national branch and alumni through social media platforms, encouraging them to highlight their professional and academic accomplishments, contribute intellectual and specialized articles through the “Articles and Opinions” section on the official website and engage positively with published content through commenting and sharing as part of a participatory democratic communication mechanism. Furthermore, they seek to expand outreach by integrating active community members, local leaders, and Fellowship alumni into the national branch of the Movement, which operates under the name "Nasser Movement for Bilateral Relations" and utilizes digital platforms. In addition, they encourage the nomination of qualified youth leaders to join the Movement, in full compliance with the organizational regulations governing membership acceptance. This remains exclusively under the authority of the Secretary-General of the Nasser International Forum. This approach ensures that the content presented effectively reaches participants from the same country, thereby guaranteeing that the target audience is relevant.
They manage the official page of the national branch and monitor the official pages of the country represented on social media platforms, particularly Facebook and X; this includes the official pages of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Youth and Sports, Culture, the Presidency, and the country’s Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt. In addition, they follow relevant official Egyptian pages, such as the Presidency of the Republic, the Cabinet, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Egyptian Embassy in the represented country, the Information and Decision Support Center, the State Information Service, and the Ministry of International Cooperation. They ensure to well-organize and systematically categorize published content, respond professionally to comments and private messages to enhance positive engagement, avoid unreliable links or polarizing content and guarantee the timely publication of official news in accordance with approved policies.
