The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) received on Monday the participants of the Nasser fellowship
Lieutenant-General Osama Rabie, head of the SCA, welcomed the young delegations participating in the third batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The young people were briefed on the development projects in the Suez Canal zone. They listened to a presentation on the Suez Canal history, its development, and its importance to the global trade movement. In addition, they learned more about the statistics and figures of the New Suez Canal.
For his part, Hassan Ghazaly, General Coordinator of the Nasser fellowship, thanked the SCA for hosting the youth delegations participating in the fellowship.
“It’s a great opportunity for them to visit the most important navigation facility in the region,” Ghazaly added.
The Nasser fellowship builds on Egypt’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the youth role through providing them with all forms of support and training, in addition to empowering them to occupy leading positions.
