Nasser International Forum Launches the Registration Form for the 5th Batch of the Nasser Fellowship for Leadership
Nasser International Forum announced in a press release this morning, January 26, 2025, the launch of the registration form for the fifth batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership. The program is set to take place in the upcoming period under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of 150 young leaders from diverse executive fields, as well as influential and active youth from around the world.
Hassan Ghazaly, founder of the Nasser International Forum, stated that the fifth batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership targets 150 leaders from various countries worldwide. Participants include decision-makers in the public sector, graduates of the African Union Volunteer Program, graduates of the United Nations Volunteer Program, graduates of the National Leadership Academy, executives from the private sector, representatives of the national committees for the World Youth Forum, as well as representatives of the national branches of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Network. Additionally, the fellowship welcomes civil society activists, heads of national youth councils, members of local councils, young political party leaders, university faculty members, researchers at strategic and policy research centers, members of professional syndicates, media professionals, journalists, and social entrepreneurs.
The founder of the Nasser International Forum added that the fifth edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership aims to select a distinguished group of young leaders from around the world based on precise and fair criteria, reflecting a commitment to transparency and equal opportunities. These criteria align with Egypt’s Vision 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, and regional and global agendas.
He emphasized that the comprehensive selection system ensures social justice and leadership innovation. He also clarified that one of the fellowship’s participation requirements is that applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old. Additionally, the fellowship is open to youth from the Global South, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and other regions.
It is worth mentioning that the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is one of Egypt’s key initiatives supporting international development efforts. It plays a crucial role in empowering deserving talents by providing comprehensive support, training, and capacity-building as a means of preparing them for leadership and executive positions while maximizing their potential and ideas. The fellowship specifically targets young leaders with diverse executive specializations who are actively engaged in their communities. It also aims to share Egypt’s developmental experience in institutional strengthening and national identity building.
