Pan African Youth Union Congratulates Burundi on the Ratification of the African Youth Character

“The Pan African Youth Union (PYU) wishes to express our sincere congratulations to the government of The Republic of Burundi for the ratification of the African Youth Charter, in accordance with our shared commitment to building a prosperous and resilient Africa.”Said by Bening Ahmed in his statement.
He added that “This action is tacit evidence of the government of the Republic of Burundi’s commitment to youth development, and further commitment to continental processes.
The PYU is convinced that the effective operationalization of the African Youth Charter will give meaning and impetus to youth mainstreaming across the development spectrum in Burundi.”
Bening expressed his appreciation saying that “The Executive Committee of PYU recognizes the effort of His Excellency, the President, and wishes to seize this opportunity to thank H.E. Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi, for stepping up as a true friend of the youth.
His commitment to youth empowerment remains unyielding, and the youth of Africa remain grateful for his efforts.”
“We further encourage the National Youth Council of Burundi to take advantage of the goodwill displayed by His Excellency, the President, and the government of the Republic of Burundi to complement their efforts and contribute meaningfully to delivering development and prosperity to the youth and citizens.” He urges.
