NASSER FELLOWSHIP ALUMNI (2ND HOHORT) ORGANISES TIMUN 2021
Nasser Fellow (in the 2nd Cohort) Joseph Malekela organised a successful Event called "Tanzania International Model of United Nations" that was held from 23rd August to 26th August, 2021 in Zanzibar Ireland.
The event has a concept of model simulation of United Nations General Assembly (UN GA) with the aim to prepare young leaders in the areas of Leadership and Diplomacy.
With full Support of Tanzanian Government through Prime Minister’s Office, Policy, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disability as well as Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports, the 24th Tanzania International Model UN - TIMUN2 Event was organized under Youth of United Nations Association Tanzania (YUNA-Tanzania).
150 Young people from 16 Countries which are Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Sudani, UK and Togo met to discuss a main theme of "Youth Engagement towards realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Decade of Action"
