Ghazaly, speaking at the International Forum for Chadian Researchers and Students in the Arab Republic of Egypt
“Hassan Ghazaly,” The founder of Nasser Youth Movement, speaking in a panel discussion entitled “Egyptian-Chadian Relations,” participated in the Global Forum for Chadian Researchers and Students in the Republic of Egypt in its first edition, which was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 6 and 7 December, in cooperation with the Arab Contractors Company, and under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Chad. In Egypt, in the presence of the leaders of the Arab Contractors Company, a number of members of the Chadian embassy, and a group of professor's, researchers, academic specialist's, foreign students, and those interested in scientific research.
At the outset of his speech, Ghazaly declared, expressing his great happiness at the victory of the members of the Nasser Youth Movement in Chad in the chairmanship of the Human Resources Committee of the Social and Economic Council of the African Union for the next four years, pointing to the strong role played by the members of the Nasser Youth Movement in Chad in the areas of training and rehabilitation, their efforts In promoting peaceful coexistence and national and regional stability, the most prominent of which was the training of 1,800 young men and women, in 6 regions, including: “Wadi Absha” and Middle Shari “Sar”, Hajar Lames “Al-Masqat” and Batha “Um Hajar” in addition to the capital, N'Djamena, which won A direct tribute from His Excellency President Mohamed Idriss Deby, President of the Republic of Chad.
And Ghazaly added, highlighting the contributions of the youth of the Nasser International Youth Movement in Chad in several fields and their numerous coordination meetings with executive leaders and decision makers at the local level, based on the role played by the Nasser Scholarship for International Leadership in informing them of the Egyptian experience in building national institutions, along with Allowing meetings between the Chadian delegation and Egyptian decision-makers, the most prominent of which was the meeting of the Chadian delegation with His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Shaker, the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy, on the sidelines of the grant activities.
Ghazaly added that within the framework of contributing to supporting ways of bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Chad, we succeeded in coordinating the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Food Bank, the Chadian Food Bank, and the regional food banks network, in addition to networking the youth of the Nasser Movement in Chad with Egyptian entrepreneurs and merchants during their presence in Egypt. On the sidelines of their participation in the COP27 Climate Summit.
Ghazaly concluded by pointing out that the efforts of the Nasser Youth Movement in Chad, especially in the context of youth and women, and the fight against corruption, have culminated in several awards and honors locally and internationally, the most prominent of which are; Two of the movement’s members, Yousra Diayi, with the rank of Knight, and Charafeddine Nasr Tidio, with the rank of Commander in the youth framework, received the Order of Excellence in the Order of Civil Merit by His Excellency President Mohamed Idriss Deby, according to Decree No. 385 in September 2021, as well as Mohamed Lari, a member of the Nasser movement in Chad, won the Integrity and Fighting Corruption Award from the Chadian community in the United States of America, stressing that it was the first time that the award was awarded to a local activist.
It is noteworthy that the Global Forum for Chadian Researchers and Students was established in 2003 by students and researchers in Chad, in an effort to create a platform for communication and exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise through channels that allow participation of the Chadian researcher and student locally and internationally in order to enhance his role in the development of his country, and to discuss the most important issues that Chad is working to address. Contribute to developing appropriate solutions in the form of proposals and recommendations submitted by researchers at the end of the forum and submitted to decision makers and stakeholders.
