On Thursday evening, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the Egyptian Consul in Venezuela, hosted a dinner in honor of the Egyptian youth delegation, including members of  Nasser Youth Movement, who are participating in the activities of the World Festival of Youth and Students Against Fascism.

During the event, the Consul offered valuable diplomatic advice to the delegation members on how to maximize the benefits of the conference. He emphasized the importance of building bridges of cultural understanding and fostering dialogue with Venezuelan youth during their stay. The discussions also explored ways to strengthen cooperation between Egypt and Venezuela, highlighting the pivotal role of academic and cultural exchange in enhancing bilateral relations, particularly through active participation in such international events.

In a related context, the Egyptian delegation participated in the national march celebrating "Venezuelan Student Day," which witnessed a massive turnout of thousands of Venezuelan students alongside youth representatives from around the globe attending the conference.

The participation of Nasser Youth Movement was part of a distinguished Egyptian representation. The delegation included Dr. Mohamed Ezz, a researcher in political sociology; Bahaa El-Din Ahmed, a graduate of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership; and journalist Mohamed Gamal, a member of the international media team of Nasser Youth Movement, along with representatives from Egyptian political parties.

He highlighted the movement's interest in Afro-Latin and Arab-Latin dimensions as part of its strategic focus through its Youth Diplomacy Unit. He noted that this participation represents an additional step toward fostering cultural and political dialogue among youth from diverse backgrounds, contributing to greater rapprochement and integration among nations.

Ghazaly concluded by emphasizing the pivotal role of student movements in the Global South as driving forces and integral components of global resistance against colonialism and its modern forms. He pointed out their critical role in mobilizing youth and unifying visions toward achieving social justice and national sovereignty, making them a cornerstone of any liberation or global struggle.
