By Video| President of the National Youth Council of Guinea Conakry praises Nasser International Youth Movement on its Fourth Anniversary

In the context of the celebration of the fourth anniversary of founding Nasser Youth Movement coinciding with the celebrations of the free peoples to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of the glorious July Revolution, which was the first launch of the African liberation movements, and the third world countries, the tribute of “Mamadou Barry”, head of the National Youth Council of Guinea Conakry came on the sidelines of the celebration. It was the first annual consultative conference for African youth leaders, organized by the African Youth Union, in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, July 2022.

Mamadou Barry, President of the National Youth Council, stated that Nasser International Youth Movement is one of the most important mechanisms for reviving the principles of cooperation and human solidarity in the world, and in Africa in particular, that the founding fathers of the African Union worked on, pointing to his appreciation and faith regarding the efforts of Nasser Youth Movement in investing the skills and energies of young people, supporting their empowerment, and enhancing their participation in decision-making centers. He also praised the developmental role led by Nasser Youth Movement in the remote and poorest African societies through comprehensive discussions and work to improve the skills of African human resources, through media  Multiple technology.

Barry continued, stressing that Nasser's international youth movement is able to create an effective and influential global citizen by activating the provisions of the African Youth Charter and the African Union roadmap for investment in youth, as a basic reference, in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. He added that it is one of the definition mechanisms with development agendas, regional and international agreements at the grassroots level, such as (the African Free Trade Agreement) and the United Nations Partnership Strategy (South - South).

For his part, Ghazaly, the founder of Nasser International Youth Movement, confirmed that the movement was launched in July 2019, Africa, in about 23 countries and then expanded over the past four years to reach about 65 countries around the world, achieving an impact and spread in five continents Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Australia, in order to strengthen historical ties and support bilateral relations between Egypt and the rest of the brotherly and friendly countries, and to consolidate the principles of South-South cooperation, as an inclusive youth platform for the most influential leaders in the world to maximize the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement and Afro-Asian solidarity.


Ghazaly concluded, pointing to the depth of bilateral relations and the historical ties between Egypt and the Republic of Guinea, Conakry, pointing to the common historical positions taken by the leaders of the two countries towards the issues of the continent, which glorified the bond of the two peoples, explaining that the late leader Ahmed Sekou Toure and the Egyptian leader Gamal Nasser had fostered relations, one of the manifestations of which was that President Abdel Nasser granted the former the “Nile Necklace” during his visit to Egypt in 1961, in appreciation of his role and struggle against the colonialist in the African continent. On the other hand, the largest university in Guinea Conakry was named "Gamal Abdel Nasser University" in appreciation of  the immortal role of the Egyptian leader.
