Nasser Fellowship Second Cohort visits the National Training Academy

The youth delegations participating in the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership Second Edition visited today the National Training Academy. They were accompanied by General Coordinator of the Nasser Fellowship, Mr Hassan Ghazali. This comes on the 15th and last day of the Fellowship Program themed “South-South Cooperation”, held under the auspices of His Excellency President of the Republic of Egypt/Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Dr Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, received and welcomed the participation delegations upon their arrival. She stressed, at the beginning of her speech, that this fellowship – organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the National Training Academy- marked Egypt’s pioneering role in deepening the ties of cooperation and friendship amongst youth from various continents, especially from Asia, Africa and Latin America, continents represented in the Nasser Leadership Fellowship.

During their visit, the youth delegations toured the National Training Academy and learned about the Academy’s future plans to qualify young cadres and its pioneering role in enriching the lives of young people in all areas.

According to Hassan Ghazali, Coordinator General of Nasser Fellowship, the “Nasser” Program included several fields visits, namely: the 6th of October Panorama, the Giza Pyramid Complex, the Egyptian Air Force Museum, the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the Police Academy, the House of Representatives, the Agricultural Research Center, and Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The aim of such visits is to introduce the youth delegations from representing Africa, Asia and Latin America to Egypt’s cultural landmarks as well as its accomplishments in the current period and to show them Egypt’s experience and progress in various areas.

The 2nd Nasser International Leadership Fellowship aims to popularize Egypt’s longstanding experience in national institution-building, create a new generation of young transformational leaders -whose vision aligns with the directions of the Egyptian presidential directives- in various countries, and connect the most influential young leaders from Africa, Asia and Latin America through the necessary training, skills enhancement and application of strategic visions.

The Nasser Leadership Fellowship First Edition was launched in June 2019 under the auspices of Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly, targeting young African executive leaders from different professional disciplines within their own communities, with the objective of popularizing Egypt’s development experience in institution/national character building.
