Embassy of Yemen in Cairo hosts the alumni of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership

Mohamed Marem, the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Cairo, hosted both; Muhammad Abdullah, and Suleiman Bashadhi, graduates of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, the third batch, at the headquarters of the Yemeni Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The meeting dealt with introducing Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, in its third edition, discussing how to activate and stimulate bilateral cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Yemen in the field of youth, and discussing activities and programs that can be implemented during the coming period. On his part, the ambassador praised the Yemeni youth participating in this international forum, pointing out that the country needs outstanding and hardworking youth, and that the embassy will save no effort in supporting and assisting Yemeni youth in continuing their creativity and brilliance in various fields of science and knowledge.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Marem awarded the youth who participated the embassy's shield and encouragement medals, to push them towards more brilliance and creativity to serve the country and advance it in the future.

The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the activities of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, in its third edition under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, with the participation of 150 young leaders from non-aligned countries and friendly countries, during the period from May 31 to June 17, 2022 at the Engineering Authority House in Cairo.

Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership aims at transferring the ancient Egyptian experience in consolidating and building national institutions, as well as creating a generation of young leaders from non-aligned countries with a vision in line with the South-South partnership, and raising awareness of the role of the Non-Aligned Movement historically and its role in the future, in addition to activating the role of the youth network of member states of the Non-aligned Movement NYM, and networking the most influential young leaders at the level of non-aligned countries and friendly countries.

Moreover, it aims at giving an equal opportunity to both genders, as indicated by the fifth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, youth are also given the opportunity to mingle with each other and make partnerships in various fields, not only at the continental level, but also at the global level, as indicated by the seventeenth goal of Sustainable Development Goals.
