Nasser Fellowship graduate meets First Counselor of Guinea Embassy in Egypt
The First Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Egypt, Fodi Moussa Benjoura, received the third batch graduate of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, Ansuman Camara, who participated effectively and prominently during the Fellowship activities, which carried the slogan "Youth of Non-Alignedness and South-South Cooperation".
During the period from May 31 to June 17, 2022, Egypt's Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the Fellowship activities at the Engineering Authority House in Cairo. This was under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, as 150 young leaders from non-aligned countries and friendly countries took part in the activities.
The Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership aims to transfer the long established Egyptian experience in building consolidated national institutions, as well as creating a generation of young leaders from non-aligned countries with a vision in line with the South-South Partnership. Moreover, the Fellowship aims at raising awareness of the role of the Non-Aligned Movement historically and its role in the future. In addition to this, it aims at activating the role of member states' youth network in the Non-Aligned Movement NAM, and networking the most influential young leaders at the level of non-aligned countries and friendly countries.
As indicated by the fifth objective of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, the Fellowship aims at giving an equal opportunity to both genders. Young people are also given the opportunity to mingle with each other and make partnerships in various fields, not only at the continental level, but also globally, as indicated by the seventeenth objective of the goal of sustainable development.
