The Ties Between Egypt and Greece Are Historically and Culturally Rooted
The ties between Egypt and Greece are historically and culturally rooted, as are friendly and fraternal bonds. I seize the opportunity of this joyful occasion of Greek Independence Day to extend my congratulations to the Greek people and to the Greek community living among us, who dwell here in goodwill and sense the strong bond of fraternity that unites us.
Egypt does not disregard the contributions made by the Greek community in all economic, social and cultural arenas. Therefore, it is our right to express gratitude to them and wish them a happy Independence Day. May God grant the friendly Greek people success in all that leads to their progress and prosperity.
