Chadian Nasser Fellow Activist Honored with $5,000 Award for Integrity and Anti-Corruption
The Chadian Community Association in the United States honored Chadian activist Ahmed Haroun Larry at the Munee Cultural Center with the Statue of Liberty, valued at $5,000 USD, as an award for integrity and the fight against corruption in Chad. This award is exceptional for a local activist in Chad.
Larry is a graduate of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership in its second edition, gaining experience in the Egyptian experience of construction, development, and strengthening national institutions, playing a prominent role as a youth anti-corruption advocate. He was one of only five Chadians selected for training in anti-corruption by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, funded by the Japanese government.
In his speech, Larry expressed his joy and gratitude for the award, thanking the donors and dedicating it to all civil society activists. In conclusion, he thanked everyone and promised more efforts, calling for collaboration for the prosperity of the nation.
