Ghazaly Speaks to Russian Youth at International Club Forum

Ghazaly: Russia Succeeded in Creating Intellectual Alternatives and Shared Values Among World Youth Through the World Youth Festival

Anthropologist Hassan Ghazaly, founder of the Nasser International Youth Movement, participated as a keynote speaker at the International Club Forum for Friends of Russia, alongside the Governor of Ojra Region, Ms. Natalia Komarova, and an elite group of young leaders from various countries, to discuss their experience at the World Youth Festival in Russia recently held and how to benefit from that experience in building partnership and cooperation.

At the beginning of his speech, Ghazaly commended the role played by the Russian House in Cairo in organizing youth activities and workshops, and pointed to his participation in activating the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association led by the Russian cultural advisor and Dr. Sherif Gad, and presenting proposals to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.

Ghazaly explained that he is working on coordinating meetings and partnership opportunities with the aim of creating effective student cooperation between Egypt and Russia within the framework of the new republic open to the world without bias towards one party at the expense of the other in the concept of international bilateral relations, and activating scientific exchange at the level of those universities, especially in light of technological advancement in Russia, as witnessed during the World Youth Festival, affirming his endeavor to create genuine dialogue platforms that bring together Russian, Arab, and African youth alike.

Ghazaly also stated that the Nasser Youth Movement has launched a new branch meaning not only Russian youth, but also bringing together all Russian speakers.

Ghazaly added that the World Youth Festival in Russia succeeded in promoting and spreading awareness of many issues of common interest such as justice in international relations and shared principles such as natural family concepts that align with the principles of the Egyptian family, pointing out that one of the most important outcomes of the festival is the promotion and creation of intellectual, cultural, and social alternatives and international relationship networks based on common principles and values.

He also expressed gratitude to the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports family for supporting the youth delegation that participated in the festival, which was one of the largest participating delegations.
