A group of graduates of the Nasser International Leadership Fellowship from various Arab nationalities, including Yemen, Algeria, and Palestine, was inaugurated by members of the Nasser Youth Movement "Arab Youth Club" as the first Arab youth talk platform of people of Arab communities and expatriates in Egypt at the Youth Innovation and Learning Centre, under the auspices of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, Supported and organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Arab Youth Year 2023. To give effect to the recommendations of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during his meetings with Arab leaders on the sidelines of the 45th meeting of the Council of Arab Youth Ministers of Youth and Sports in Cairo chaired by Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports.
In a related context, the supervision of the Arab Youth Club was entrusted to Ambassador Mohammed Al-Orabi, the former Minister for Foreign Affairs, who pointed out that current generations of young people have challenges that we have not seen throughout history, stressing the importance of supporting and qualifying young people and considering their issues, above all the issues of awareness, identity, and nationality.
Young Yemeni activist Mohammed al-Jabri and founding member of the Arab Youth Club stated that the Arab Youth Club is scheduled to be held monthly throughout the year 2023 to invest in the potential of Arab youth and listen to their aspirations, need,s and aspirations, and build bridges of communication and dialogue among young ArabStates to support relationships and exchange experiences, cultures and ideas and experiences among them.
For his part, Palestinian activist Rami Aman, a graduate of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership and founding member of the Arab Youth Club, explained that the idea of establishing the club follows the recommendations of His Excellency President Abdul Fatah al-Sisi and his announcement of 2023-year Arab Youth Club. To create Arab youth cadres in several fields, such as economics, tourism, capacity-building, education, youth diplomacy, and information, to benefit from Egyptian expertise in those fields, and to build an umbrella platform for the most important Arab cadres at one table of dialogue.
Hassan Ghazaly, the founder of the Nasser Movement and Fellowship for International Leadership, said: "We throw youth seeds and development projects that we strive to be sustainable by basically relying on the justice of choice we pursue during the process of selecting youth leaders involved in our various programs." He noted his strong belief in the abilities of the youth cadres established for the Arab Youth Club, stressing that he witnessed them closely during the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, and found them with informed awareness, a genuine and supreme human message, and a multifaceted cultural background.
The inauguration took place in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ashraf Sobhy, and a group of Arab diplomats and youth leaders.
