Nasser Fellow Co-hosts 10th Africa Regional Meeting
Fellow, Eric Kawa was invited to co-host the official Opening Ceremony of the 10th Africa Regional Meeting hosted in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The event was organized by the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) and the Sierra Leone Medical Students Associations (SLEMSA).
The International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA), founded in 1951, is one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organizations. It represents, connects, and engages every day with an inspiring and engaging network of 1.3 million medical students from 139 national member organizations in 130 countries around the globe.
Eric is a Multilingual Journalist with demonstrated skills in broadcasting, red carpet/ event hosting, panel discussion, and voiceovers among others.
He is a recipient of Sierra Leone’s 100 Most Influential Youth Award.
Eric is a Batch 3 Alumnus of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, African Presidential Leadership Program (APLP), and a former Delegate of the World Youth Forum (2019) in Egypt, He is also a fellow of the British Council Future News Worldwide.
