1988- Joined diplomatic service with the rank of attache, protocol department at the federal secretariat for foreign affairs.

1990-1991 - Third secretary, Asia, Australia and the pacific department.

1991-1998 - second secretary, embassy of the SFR of Yugoslavia/FR of Yugoslavia, Seol, Republic of Korea.

1994-1998- Charge de Affairs A.I of the embassy.

1998- First Secretary in Asia and the pacific department.

1998-2000 - First Secretary, Councilor in the information and documentation sector.

2000- First councilor, head of Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus Desk.

2001-2002- Deputy chief of staff, office of the foreign Minister.

2002-2007- First councilor, Embassy of FR of Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro, Washington DC.

April 2007- Minister Councilor, Head of the Department of the Americas.
