Mr. Osama El Gohary  

In September, 2019, The Prime Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, passed a resolution to appoint Mr. Osama El Gohary, the Assistant to the Prime Minister, to be the Acting Head of Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center, for one year, renewable.

 
The Chairman's Academic Qualifications:  
  • Master's degree in Digital Marketing, Hult International Business School, The U.S. 2012.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, The American University in Cairo (AUC). 2008.
  • Certificate in Economics, Edinburg Business School in the United Kingdom. 2009.
 
Chairman's Main Areas of Expertise:  

Head of Department in the Minister of Petroleum Technical Office; Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum. 2007.

    • Participated in many research works on the oil and gas industry.
    • Participated in task forces of international consultancy firms in preparing studies on the future of the petroleum industry in Egypt.
  • Lecturer of Marketing & Consumer Behavior, Misr International University (MIU). 2015-2000.

Joined the Technical Office of the Prime Minister in early 2009.

Senior Analyst & Team Leader, the Technical Office of the Prime Minister of Egypt since 2016.

Assistant to the Prime Minister since April 2019.

At the age of 38, El Gohary was the youngest to hold the office of the IDSC Chairman, since its establishment in 1985.

El Gohary's appointment comes in the context of the Prime Minister's orientation to push young and promising human calibers to assume leadership positions in order to contribute to enhancing renewable ideas and improving performance. This is in alignment with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s overall directives for young talents to assume leadership positions.
