Abdel Hakim Abdel Nasser: The Engineer Who Carried the Legacy of Leadership and Chose the Path of Quiet Work

In the heart of Egypt’s capital, specifically in Giza Governorate, Abdel Hakim Gamal Abdel Nasser was born on January 8, 1955. He is the fifth son of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser, one of the most prominent figures in the modern history of Egypt, the Arab world, and Africa. Despite being born into a household of leadership and national struggle, Abdel Hakim chose to build a solid professional path for himself in the field of engineering and the private sector, combining national legacy with hands-on work.

He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University in July 1976, specializing in civil engineering. One of his first steps after graduation was fulfilling his national service in the Egyptian Armed Forces, which lasted from September 1976 until November 1977, a period during which Egypt was preparing for a phase of reconstruction following the glorious October Victory.

From 1979 until 2018, Abdel Hakim Abdel Nasser embarked on a long professional journey in the field of contracting and civil engineering. He established a career far removed from politics, preferring tangible achievements on the ground over public appearances. Thanks to his technical vision and extensive experience, he contributed to the execution of numerous projects and served as a model of the Egyptian engineer who works in silence and builds without noise.
