Dr. Mohamed El-Baz

Dr. Mohamed El-Baz is an Egyptian writer and media figure who was born in Damietta on December 12th, 1973. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Cairo University, followed by a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Journalism in 2009.

El-Baz has extensive experience in the field of journalism, having served as the editor-in-chief of Al-Dostour newspaper and as a professor at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University. He has also presented several TV and radio programs, including "Akhbar Al-Nahar," "Mesh Hisba Berma," "90 Minutes," and "Bab Allah."

In addition to his work in journalism, El-Baz has authored several books, including "The Egyptian Islam" (2005), "Pleasure Gardens" (2006), "Kings and Giants" (2011), "Christian Writer's Islamic Studies" (2010), "The Poisonous Scorpion" (2012), and "Monks and Murderers" (2018).

One of his notable works is the book "The Cursed Inheritance: The Book of Secrets" (2019), in which El-Baz sheds light on the crisis of media from its beginning until the present day, identifying the causes of the problems and suggesting possible solutions.
