African youth participating in the "Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership" toured inside the naval base in Ras al-Tin in Alexandria, during which they listened to a detailed explanation about the efforts made by the naval base to protect the homeland.

This came during the activities of the eighth day of the "Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership" launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (African Youth Bureau and the Central Administration of Parliament and Civic Education) under the auspices of Dr Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister , from 8 to 22 June 2019, in cooperation with the African Youth Union.

The activities of the day also included a tour in the Citadel of Qaitbay to learn about its historical role in confronting the aggression and protecting the security of Egypt, where the African youth inspected the first floor that occupies the Citadel Mosque, and the second floor contains corridors, halls and interior rooms, as well as a large room representing the Sultan Qaitbay Council. The activities of the day concluded with a cruise inside the Fishing Club in Alexandria.
