World Water Day
The secret of life
The United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) recommended in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro the designation of an international day for fresh water, and declared the celebration of the World Water Day on March 22 of each year.
The United Nations General Assembly decided to designate March 22, 1993 as the first World Water Day.
This occasion also mainly supports Goal No. 6 of the Sustainable Development Goals, which means addressing the water problem and making it available worldwide by 2030.
