Nasser Fellowship Participants tour Giza and Saqqara Pyramids
Participants of the Nasser Fellowship International Leadership, in its fourth edition, toured the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara, in the presence of Ambassador Obaid Boama Aqua, the Ghanaian ambassador to Cairo, who was keen to share with the Ghanaian youth delegation participating in the fellowship their visit to see the archaeological areas of the region and the three pyramids. A detailed explanation of the history of this place, which dazzled the whole world was also heard. It also included highlighting what happened in this important era of the Pharaonic history of Egypt. Then, they went to the panorama area to take memorial photos and ended their tour by visiting the Sphinx statue area.
The participants expressed their great happiness with what they saw of the archaeological treasures of the ancient Egyptian civilization and the greatness of the pyramids, expressing their great appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the civilizational shift that Egypt is witnessing in terms of urbanization and construction, where the authenticity of the past converges with the nobility of the present. They praised the greatness of Egypt, its antiquities, its history and its ancient heritage.
The participants also tweeted through their personal pages on social networking sites, thanking His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for his constant keenness to sponsor and host international youth events, and to make every effort with brothers in different countries to achieve youth renaissance in various fields. They also published photographs that they took from the Pyramids of Giza and expressed their great happiness at seeing one of the Seventh Wonders of the World.
Hassan Ghazaly, General Coordinator of the Fellowship, stated that the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is an embodiment of the vision of Egypt and its endeavor to strengthen the role of youth locally and globally, and to enable them to possess the tools of leadership in political and social action. The various versions of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership follow in the context of keenness on transferring the approach of the Egyptian experience in building the new republic, and creating a base of promising young competencies. All forms of support, qualification and training are provided to the youth participating in the Fellowship, which also organizes field tours, discussion and dialogue sessions in various fields in order to expand the horizons and perceptions of young people, and enable them to create a comprehensive and pivotal vision linked to global issues and sustainable development plans.
It is noteworthy that the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is one of the executive mechanisms for implementing the recommendations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to support the competencies of African youth, and enable them to create a comprehensive and pivotal vision linked to global issues and sustainable development plans, and support opportunities to promote the Egyptian role globally as it comes within the framework of implementing Egypt's vision for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, Africa's Agenda 2063, and South-South Cooperation.
