Dr. Sameh Kamel
Dr. Sameh Kamel is Organizing Partner of the Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY) at the United Nations. Dr. Kamel holds a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery MBBS, and is currently in his final year of his Master Degree in Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery). Dr. Kamel has been a practicing ENT surgeon since January 2022
Along with his role at MGCY, Dr. Kamel founded the Arab Youth Platform for Sustainable Development at the League of Arab States, the first ever officially mandated space for youth to engage at an intergovernmental institution in the Middle East
The Major Group for Children and Youth is the UN General Assembly mandated space for children and youth to engage at the United Nations.
