Today is the eleventh anniversary of the independence of South Sudan, as in January 2011 a referendum was held whose outcome was the independence of South Sudan, and then in July of the same year, State No. 193 was established within the United Nations, which is the State of South Sudan.
After that independence, South Sudan became one of the newest countries in the world, and independence is celebrated in many ways every year on July 9th. Leaders gathered in Juba, South Sudan’s capital. The people celebrated by raising the flag of South Sudan, singing, and performing various artistic performances that spread an atmosphere of joy and happiness throughout the country.

The independence of South Sudan gave the people new hope to achieve more dreams. Independence was like the birth of a new child, giving them new memories and a new life.
Independence for the people of South Sudan proves the possibility of achieving their aspirations. That independence is a strong incentive to continue striving because their hopes and goals will be achieved. Therefore, today we celebrate the anniversary of independence, and we wish all our South Sudanese sisters and brothers more prosperity and happiness.
