The Egyptian revolution Of July 23, 1952 ... turning point

The Revolution of July 23, 1952, organized  by Egyptian officers led Gamal Abd Elnasser.  it could topple the monarchy and brought about a republican regime and also liberated Egypt from domination by British military and economic occupation.

The main reasons for the revolution are as follows:

•  Farouk king and his court were wasted Financial common property and marginalized the common people, so that's  led to poor economic conditions and disappeared the social justice. 

•because of  closing  Naval and military schools .

•the Security Council wasn't  issue   a resolution in favor of Egypt after the issue of the evacuation of British forces was submitted to the United Nations.

•Reducting   the number of national army units.

•the King involvemented   the country in the. Palestine war without proper preparation  so certainly result of this defeat.

The  revolution's  results in  a social and educational sides indeed  are considered turning point in Egypt's future  : -

 First , we could overcome feudalism with the issuing of the first agrarian reform law in September 1952, which limited agricultural property per capita to 200 acres and distributed the rest of the agricultural land to landless peasants. Second , issuing of social insurance and pension laws for employees and workers,  limited  working hours and let  workers  to participate in the boards of companies and  factories  in addition to  limited  their percentage of profits.

Third , women were granted the right to vote and to stand for election to the National Assembly.  Moreover , Education at all levels became  for free and many schools and universities  established in whole  country. Finally ,  The General Authority of Palaces of Culture ، Cultural Centers and the  Academy of Higher Institutes of Theater, Cinema, Critics, Ballet, Opera, Music and Folk Arts were established .
