“Since I started working on this project, I believe I have an issue. My cause is the lost or the missing history, the people you see in the streets and homes, in the fields and factories, the people who have a history, these people have enriched humanity. How to bring them back to have the same role? How do we restore their positive and strong contribution to life? They must, first of all, know who they are? Who were they? What did they do? We must connect the person of today with the person of yesterday in order to present the person of tomorrow... This is my issue..” Shadi Abdel Salam

An overview of Bozoor School Project:
"Bozoor Project" is a free enlightenment project with community change mechanism coming from the bottom of the pyramid, aimed at closing the gaps of central formal education based on indoctrination and replacing it with a debating methodology in which a teacher is a facilitator, known as critical education. The school contributes to building transformational leadership within its community and an  intellectual schooler that has universal personality with local features.

Bozoor School relies on the implementation of three basic documents as a reference: (Egypt's Vision 2030 at the national level - Africa's Agenda 2063 at the continental level - United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 at the United Nations level), together with secondary documents: the African Youth Charter, the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights, and the 2014 Constitution of Egypt, currently in force.

Target group
The project targets the 16 to 18-year-old age group, 50% of whom are male and 50% are female, in addition to setting 20% of all students to be people with disabilities which is equivalent to 6 students.

Project Location
Believing in the impact of the place and the relations there on the students in the workshops, our choice of the place of the school will be commensurate with the content of the workshops or the salon courses and the nature of their subjects. The workshops will be set up in a number of archaeological sites where Egypt and the cultural centres of the State live in order to re-generate the historical and cultural depth of the place to interact with what is taught with a view to reviving local heritage and personality.
