Nasser Youth Movement member inaugurates the national branch of the Continental Youth Advisory Council for the AFCFTA in Libya

Sanad Marzok Alfakri, the Libyan diplomat, the diplomat in the foreign ministry, and Libyan Ministry of International Cooperation, the head of the project entitled (Focus on Africa and linking youth communication frameworks), a member of Nasser Youth Movement, and a graduate of Nasser International Leadership Grant, opened the national branch of the Continental Youth Advisory Council for the African Free Trade Area Agreement. The opening was officially on Wednesday 4th January evening in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.


This was in the presence of the Representatives of the Libyan prime Minister,  Doctor "Fathallah Al-Zani", the Minister of Youth, Ministries of the Government of National Unity, the Chairman of the Libyan National Consensus and Communication Council, and several youth leaders.

At the beginning of his speech, Alfakri presented the way the council worked, how it was established, and what were its goals. He also presented the Libyan office working plan for 2023. Moreover, he pointed out the activities of the Council National Branch launched with the support and patronage of the "Bader" initiative. This initiative was launched by "Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibeh", the prime minister of the Government of National Unity and the minister of youth. It came as a part of the National Initiative to Support Projects and Youth Initiatives and Projects in Libya.

Hassan Ghazaly, the founder of Nasser Youth Movement and the Coordinator-General of Egypt's National Branch of the Continental Youth Advisory Council for the African Free Trade Area Agreement said that he is to open a branch for this council in Egypt in the coming period. He also pointed out the activities, workshops, and seminars launched in 2022 in order to raise the awareness of the African Free Trade File. These activities include several workshops within the activities of the Afromedia Initiative. In addition, they include several seminars in the framework of the National Program for the Development of Student Cadres in African Affairs. All that came under the patronage of the African Development and Capacity Building Foundation in preparation for opening the Advisory Council " ICYACA" in Egypt.

Ghazaly concluded by explaining that Nasser Youth Movement launched in July 2019 to be an International Global Platform for the most influential young leaders worldwide. It aims to engage them with decision-makers and experts locally, regionally, and globally. All that is considered a preparation for activating the initiative launched by the United Nations Organization, Non-Aligned Movement, Afro- Asian People's Solidarity, and African Union's Agenda 2063, especially the articles connected to young people, women, climate, education, peace, and safety. In addition to Governance and Entrepreneurship and the African Free Trade Area Agreement in its heart.
